Precision® Manifold Systems are constructed with heavy wall borosilicate (pyrex) tubing and large bore, grease-free stopcocks. Borosilicate tubing offers superior outgassing properties and ease of cleaning compared to other glass and metal manifolds. Modular design provides the flexibility to match the manifold system to your requirements. Suitable for processing neon tubing as well as cold cathode lamps.

Single ended manifolds allow the operator to process either one or two units at a time. Double ended manifold systems allow the operator to alternate processing two units at a time from one side of the manifold to the other.

Standard options available:

Debris Trap. Prevents large particles from entering the manifold.

  • Debris Trap with 9mm connector includes the port to attach a third gas flask or canister.
  • Debris Trap with Isolation/Vent Valve isolates the pumping attachment and unit being processed from the manifold. Allows the operator to alternate processing from one side to the other.

Pumping Attachment. Uses 7mm connector to allow attachment of 5 or 6mm tubulation to the manifold without welding or rubber hoses.

  • Single fixed arm to connect one unit at a time.
  • Double fixed arms to connect two tubes at a time.
  • Swivel arm moves up and down which makes the alignment with the tubulation easier and faster.

Pumping Attachment with Main Stopcock. Allows the addition of a roughing pump while keeping your manifold system cleaner.
Vacuum Gauge Stopcock. Isolates the vacuum gauge while bombarding. Also protects the gauge tube from influx of contaminants. Accepts standard 1/8 NPT gauge tubes.
Gas Bottle Stopcocks. Meters the gas from glass flasks.
Gas Transfer System. Meters the gas from metal canisters. Can be used with any Precision Manifold or adapted to other manifolds.
Gas Bottle Breaker Bars. Used for breaking the seal on glass flasks. Glass enclosed breaker bars eliminate the metal outgassing and contaminating the rare gas bottle.
"O" Ring Lubricant. Specially formulated to allow the "O" rings on the stopcocks to slide easier in the glass barrels. (Not recommended for the compression fittings or stopcock tip "O" rings.)

FILLING GAUGES

U-Gauge Manometer.  Used to monitor tube pressure during bombarding and is the most accurate method of measuring the gas fill pressure in each tube.  The oil-filled U-Gauge can be used with any Precision Manifold or retrofitted to any other type of manifold.

0-40 Torr Capsule Fill Gauge.  Easy-to-read analog gauge.  Provides the operator continuous pressure readings during bombarding and gas filling.  The Torr Gauge can be used with any Precision Manifold or retrofitted to any other type of manifold.
